これでいいか

わたしは、あなたがたがやむを得ずへりくだっているので幸いであると言ったが、御言葉のために自ら進んで心からへりくだる人々は、なおさら幸いであると思わないか。

まことに、自ら進んで心からへりくだり、罪を悔い改め、最後まで堪え忍ぶ人は祝福を受ける。まことにこのような人は、非常に貧しいためにやむを得ずへりくだっている人々よりも、なおさら祝福を受ける。

And now, as I said unto you, that because ye were compelled to be humble ye were blessed, do ye not suppose that they are more blessed who truly humble themselves because of the word?

Yea, he that truly humbleth himself, and repenteth of his sins, and endureth to the end, the same shall be blessed–yea, much more blessed than they who are compelled to be humble because of their exceeding poverty.

人が、自分の人生がうまくいっている時に、
「これでいいんだろうか？」と思うことは、稀です。
正しいこと、あるいは、続けていけば
成功することをしている時でも、
うまくいかない時には、
「これでいいんだろうか？」と思うのです。
どちらがいいんでしょうね？
