希望

しかし見よ、もしあなたがたが目を覚まし、能力を尽くしてわたしの言葉を試し、ごくわずかな信仰でも働かせようとするならば、たとえ信じようとする望みを持つだけでもよい。わたしの言葉の一部分でも受け入れることができるほどの信仰になるまで、その望みを育ててゆけ。

But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words.

どんなことにも、
ちいさな希望は持てます。
大きな希望を持とうとすると、
無理だなって思うかもしれません。
でも、小さな希望だったら持てるのです。
その小さな希望から、始めましょう。
捨てさえしなければ、ちょっとずつ
大きくなっていくのです。
