人を変える

まことに、悔い改めて信仰を働かせ、善い行いをし、絶えず祈り続ける人には、神の奥義を知ることが許され、まことに、まだ明らかにされていないことを明らかにすることが許される。また、この同胞を悔い改めに導く務めがわたしたちに与えられたように、何千もの人々を悔い改めに導く務めがその人に与えられる。

Yea, he that repenteth and exerciseth faith, and bringeth forth good works, and prayeth continually without ceasing–unto such it is given to know the mysteries of God; yea, unto such it shall be given to reveal things which never have been revealed; yea, and it shall be given unto such to bring thousands of souls to repentance, even as it has been given unto us to bring these our brethren to repentance.
